Colton entered into Winterfest with a gleaming smile as Coaches Tara and Steve Helton welcomed him.
He enjoyed some time with other visitors in listening to the Scott County High School Band perform an assortment of holiday tunes.
Colton sat down with counselor Meredith Schwindel to discuss the many opportunities made available to SCHS students.
He was glad to join Spanish teacher, Victor Miranda, in playing maracas.
Colton stopped by SCHS’s Cardinal Connections Store to check out the new merchandise arriving.
He happily joined Julia Marshall’s French students when they began to sing catchy caroling songs.
Colton posed with his friend, Brenden Smith, who was one of the culinary students making festive treats.
Colton posed for a jovial picture with Holly Martin, Bookkeeper, and James Ramsey, Science Teacher, during a session of gift wrapping.
He joined student, Elizabeth Shipley, and teacher, Kourtney Roe in wreath-making.
Colton was excited to make a French holiday favorite, a Buche de Noel.
Colton joined other visitors to complete a holiday themed math activity.
He visited with English teacher, Courtney Keller, to converse about origami.
Colton and Senior John Hulette met the man of the hour, Santa Claus.
Winterfest proved to be a jolly good time for Senior Colton Combs.
